Slow Description is an ethnographic media-making approach that employs literary techniques or generic qualities of speculative fiction. Slow description is an attempt to disrupt or differently approach rationalist representational practices. (cf. Eduardo Viveiros de Castro’s notion of an “anthropological fiction,” 2013: 483)
